Yamanaka factor reprogramming
Systemic in-vivo reprogramming (Yamanaka factors). Aging itself. Reviewed Jul 2026.
Mice show reversed aging markers, but the cancer risk is unsolved and no person has received it systemically.
What it is
Cyclic, partial expression of the four Yamanaka factors throughout the living body to rejuvenate multiple tissues at once, rather than just a single organ.
The evidence
Mouse studies show reversal of aging markers and extended healthspan; the central risk is teratoma/cancer if cells de-differentiate too far. No human systemic trials yet.
What you can do today
Not available for this use, and years away if it arrives at all. Anything sold today with this claim is not backed by human evidence for it.
